Since San Diego is the Eighth Largest City in the USA and the Second Largest City in California it needs  and has a great transportation system.  The transportation System is color coded as an easier way to recognize the areas and the districts you are traveling.   The Trolley and buses are one of the main transpiration systems. The San Diego Transportation is divided into two different Districts: MTS  and NCTD  MTS : Metropolitan Transit System  and Covers:

Blue  

The Blue Line takes you between  San Ysidro and America Plaza . Orange  The Orange Line takes you between El Cajon and Santa Fe Depot  Green The Green Line takes you between Santee and Imperial Transit Center    NCTD
